In addition to a new product, with new materials, it is also time to introduce a new factory.

Waiwah is a real household name in the outerwear world. They established in the 60’s and started out with outerwear and making seam seal waterproof garment in 1981.

By combining their years of experience in outerwear clothing with innovative production methods such as sonic cutting, heat welding and sew-free production, they are able to deliver high-quality products in an ethical and fair way.

“ They established in the 60's and started out with outerwear ”

With the use of sustainable materials and the possibility to be involved in every part of the production process, Wai Wah enables Open Wear to deliver products that are not only sustainable in production, but also sustainable in use.

Wai Wah’s work fits our 3R principle: Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. Wai Wah creates as minimal waste as possible. The leftover fabrics which are normally waste are recycled for future reparations and production repairs. The waste of fabrics is around 3% to 5%, all this garment is now reused.

In our search for new sustainable materials and technologies we can always use the help of our community. Feel free to send us a message with your ideas!

Together, we can change the outerwear industry.
