Open Wear x Snowcountry

Before the winter of 2018/2019 Open Wear grew quickly without too much trouble.

When the new production almost started there was a huge problem. Our biggest investor and his financial adviser withdrew the investment two weeks before the production needed to be paid. Open-wear wasn’t able to finance the investment by themselves so the last option was to sell all the products and see what the future brings.

Our partner Snowcountry was always ready to help us out and helped sell the leftover products on their website before. Our partner Snowcountry took it a step further and changed the internal environment and became owners of Open Wear, Chris and Martijn are still very close to Open Wear. Snowcountry invested in a new clothing line to bring Open Wear back to where it came from, with better products and even better service. As a collective of passionate skiers and snowboarders, we are again going to achieve the best sustainable outerwear at an affordable price!
