The Open One 3L Jacket is the ultimate freeride jacket. The Open One Series is specially designed with two key functionalities in mind: Riding deep powder in the backcountry and hiking up to get there.

Design

The Open One Series has been awarded the prestigious ISPO Gold Winner Award and iF Design Award. Since the design was so popular with you and with us, we have changed it as little as possible. In the fight against the fast fashion industry, this timeless design will change as little as possible in the future as well. That’s why we only design products that remain relevant.

Bring what you want. Five outside pockets. Two inside. Eight water-resistant YKK zippers to keep you dry. Helmet compatible hood and stormproof. One hand cohesive point adjustment system. Including a removable snow skirt and removable handcuffs.

Material

When functionality meets sustainability. That’s the best definition of the recycled Xpore Xtreme 3L shell material. The 25.000mm non-porous membrane guarantees optimal functionality, made of Xpore Xtreme material with 58% Bio-PET and 42% polyester. Since all three layers are polyester, this allows a cheap and simple recycling process. For more information about the materials you can read this article.

By combining their years of experience in outerwear clothing with innovative production methods such as sonic cutting, heat welding and sew-free production, they are able to deliver high-quality products in an ethical and fair way. For more information about the factory you can read this article.

Sustainability

As a collective of passionate skiers and snowboarders we can change the outerwear industry, we believe in a sustainable future. That’s why we make sustainable choices through all the steps of the process. From the materials to the shipping. For more information about  sustainability you can read this article.

Marcus

I have used the new Open One 3L for one year now. And in very various condition, from -20 to +5, in rain, snow and sunshine. In stormy and calm days. And I am sad to say that this is not the best garment out there... First of all the zipper in the jacket is very hard to zip in cold weather. It gets to stiff and is very hard, sometimes impossible, to zip. The fabric works fine i dry and cold wether. But in -+ 0 degrees and wet snow it gets all wet straight through to next layer in under an hour... not good at all.
