The latest Open One series, unfortunately, does not contain any women items.

First of all, we are pleasantly surprised by the amount of interest there is in a women’s line. We got a lot of questions about it and we are excited to make this happen in the future.

There are multiple reasons for the choice of producing only a men’s line. First of all, we are relaunching Open Wear after three seasons.

The relaunch of Open Wear required too much attention to also produce a women’s line this year. This is because a lot changed, which is explained in This article. Because this is the relaunch there is already a large budget invested in not only the newest clothing line but all departments of the business in general.

In fact, at this moment it is not possible to launch a women’s line because of the high MOQ(Minimal Order Quantity). The MOQ is at least 500pcs per product. As open and transparent Open Wear is, we are not able to make such an investment in this stage of relaunching.

Our main audience is men, which is around 90% in total. Because of this ratio we focused on launching a men’s line first.

Yet, there will be more products in the future!

We are already in the process of developing a new Open One series exclusively designed for women.

But there is more! The products are not fully developed and we can still use your input. As always, we want our products to be as functional and sustainable as possible. Therefore we really appreciate your help! This is the moment for the community to share your thoughts and desires for our future women’s line. We are going to ask you in the upcoming months for advice, which will be about colors and sizes for example.

Let us know what you as a woman would like to see in our future products! Don’t doubt about getting in contact with us, we appreciate your help a lot. Together we can make products that matter.

There is one thing I would adjust: At the chin , so at the end of the zipper a pad ( a soft down padding ) sew in, then it is not so rough at the end of the zipper

Please do not change much in the „cuts“ - and in the functions. The functions and details are the most important. Just the straight line in the cut is perfect. The entire jacket has been perfectly thought out. I am wearing the jacket now in the 5th seasons for skiing as well as ski touring, on each tour also to tour/walk up: I would still change actually nothing.. long zippers to ventilate, (perfect soft quality) hood helmet-compatible, the large chest pockets for gloves, power bar etc.. Even the pants pockets | zippers are designed so that the cell phone does not interfere and is always quickly at hand - but far enough away from the barryvox. Simply ingenious! Look forward so incredibly to a new outfit! It’s finally time, after 6 years. (the pants isn’t black anymore…loses color)

Any women who bought a men's jacket, who are around 173cm tall? I use men's pants in size M, since I got curvy hips, not sure if a men's jacket size S would work. In a wms jacket I would be a M. Hip measurements is 100cm, waist 72cm, chest 88cm. I did look at the size chart, but could not make up my mind. Any recommendations?

Open Wear

Hi! There are multiple women wearing our products in size S. I think a size S will fit you good but it can be tight around the hip. If you would like to wear a wider jacket with more space you should go for size M.
